Terms of Service

These Terms govern the use of the game publishing service games.voxelnovels.com and the creation tool create.voxelnovels.com (collectively, the "Service") provided by Itumonoare (the "Operator").

1. Application

• By using the Service, you agree to these Terms, the Publishing Guidelines, the Content Policy, and the Privacy Policy.
• Creators who publish games are asked for explicit consent (a checkbox) at the time of publishing. The document type, version, and timestamp of each consent are recorded.

2. Accounts

• Publishing games requires an account (email registration or a supported external sign-in).
• You are responsible for managing your account. The Operator is not liable for unauthorized use by third parties.
• Minors should use the Service with the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. The Service

• You can publish, share, and play games created with the creation tool on the Service.
• The state of published games (unlisted, public, under review, suspended, etc.) follows the Publishing Guidelines.
• Storage capacity and the number of published games are limited by quotas, which may change with prior notice.

4. Rights to User Content

• Rights to content you create and upload (text, images, 3D models, game data, etc.) remain yours.
• You grant the Operator a free, non-exclusive license limited to what is needed to operate the Service (storage, conversion, delivery, thumbnail generation, review, and backup). This license ends prospectively when the content is deleted (except for temporary retention for backups or legal preservation).
• You represent and warrant that you hold the necessary rights to the content you upload and that it does not infringe third-party rights.

5. Prohibited Conduct

In addition to publishing content prohibited by the Content Policy (/legal/content/), the following are prohibited:

• Placing excessive load on the Service's servers or networks, or attempting unauthorized access
• Using another person's account or sharing credentials
• Evading or manipulating review (including swapping content after approval in a way that violates policy)
• Any act that violates laws or public order and morals

6. Suspension, Changes, and Termination

• The Operator may unpublish or delete content and suspend accounts to address violations or reports.
• The Operator may change or terminate the Service with prior notice, except in emergencies.
• The free portions of the Service are provided "as is"; availability and completeness are not guaranteed.

7. Disclaimer

• Disputes arising from games published by a user shall be resolved at that user's responsibility and expense.
• The Operator is not liable for damages arising from use or inability to use the Service, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

8. Changes to These Terms

• These Terms may be revised as needed. For material changes, re-consent is requested at the next publishing operation.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The court with jurisdiction over the Operator's location shall be the exclusive court of first instance for disputes related to the Service.
